Section I: General Rules
- Respect must always be present to all Fire of ONYX personnel and allies.
- Fire of ONYX does NOT support racism, sexism, ageism, or any other form of cyber bullying. To do so is a huge crime within Fire of ONYX and will result in extreme punishment. (See more in section VII subsection 2)
- Follow all orders from all officers, petty officers, and sergeants. (See more in section II)
- You must be in Uniform during all clan events.
- You are not allowed to be in, or partake in, any other clan while in Fire of ONYX without consent of the High Council of ONYX. (This applies to Halo Reach only).
- You are not allowed to leave a clan event there are stronger reasons you can’t control. (i.e. real life issues). If you leave, a replacement is preferred.
- You are not allowed to carry two power weapons at any given time, unless instructed by a Sergeant, Petty Officer, or Officer.
- Spawn killing will be used for only tactical advantages.
- All unknowns are neutral unless proven otherwise. (See section III)
- Gauss Warthogs are not permitted on Fire of ONYX Raid maps unless it is for training purposes.
- Prisoners and surrenders are only accepted for tactical advantage.
Uniform: Having your Fire of ONYX emblem, colors, and service tag.
Clan Events: Events with more than three Fire of ONYX personnel, or when an Officer is present.
Spawn killing: Instantly killing hostiles at spawn, or preventing hostiles to leave spawn.
Neutral: Not identified as an ally or hostile.

Section II: Chain of Command
Subsection 1: Reporting
- Always report to the highest Officer in your game/party. If there are none then message your question to one of them.
- Only report when: Rules are broken, you have unjust punishment, a plot to rebel, or you have a question.
- Reporting a false report is considered as spam,and can result in punishment (See section VII)
- An OpsOs position can only be given to a member that has completed Juliet Training
- Conduct and lead Training
- Conduct Punishment when necessary (Proof Required)
- Promote to the rank of E4 (Must have a valid reason. See section VIII)
- Ensure discipline.
- Lead battles
- An XO is given the position after being an OpsOs by a CO (Must have valid reason)
- Conduct and lead training
- Conduct punishment when necessary (Proof Required)
- Promote to the rank of E7 (Must have a valid reason. See section VIII)
- Ensure discipline.
- Command when a CO is not present
- Organize battle strategies
- Plan events within their branch
- Conduct meetings
- Lead battles
- Trian OpsOs
- A CO is granted this position after being an XO by another CO (Must have valid reason)
- COs are the rank of O9
- Conduct and lead training
- Conduct punishment when necessary (Proof Required)
- Promote to the rank of O8 (Must have a valid reason. See section VIII)
- Ensure discipline.
- Command all clan members
- Organize battle strategies
- Plan Clan/Allied events
- Conduct meetings
- Lead battles
- Form alliances
- Train OpsOs
Section III: Neutrality
- An individual will be labeled neutral if they are not Fire of ONYX Personnel, part of an allied force, or part of a hostile organization.
- Neutrals will be labeled hostile if they show any violence to Fire of ONYX Personnel or Allies
- Neutrals are not allowed inside any Fire of ONYX bases or outposts
- If neutrals attempt to get in a Fire of ONYX base or outpost they are given a warning, If they try again, you retain the right to kill them.
- If neutrals are suspected of aiding any hostile forces, you retain the right to kill them (proof is required).
Section IV: Scouting Operations
- The Fire of ONYX reserves the right to send in up to three scouts before the raid to scout the enemy base. They do not count as a raid force, therefore, it does not count as a raid unless more Fire of ONYX personnel or allies join.
- Scouts must be allowed inside the base for a minimum of 5 minutes to a maximum of 15
- If hostiles attack Fire of ONYX scouts before the raid has officially started, It is considered a raid win.
- If Fire of ONYX scouts attack the hostile force outside of the base, the raid has started, regardless if the base fits raid regulations.
- If Fire of ONYX scouts attack hostiles inside the base, the raid is considered a loss.
- There is a raid-able base
- The base is accessible
- The base has no custom power-ups or trait-zones
- There is no time limit
- There are no teams
- There is no score limit
- The base has no Gauss Warthogs or any other raid rules broken (See section V)
Raid-able: Base has at least one entrance that is accessible from spawn.
Section V: Raid/Battle Rules
Subsection 1: Power Weapons
- No Fire of ONYX Personnel can ever carry more than one power weapon at a time unless instructed by a CO or XO
- No more than two snipers at a time.
- No more than one rocket launchers at a time
- No more than one laser at one time
- No more than two GL at a time
- No Covenant or Promethean weapons except for grenades (Raids only)
- Shotguns and swords are considered power weapons on certain maps (Battles only) Talk to a CO to verify.
- No Gauss Warthogs
- No Covenant vehicles (Raids only)
- There must be at least two spawn vehicles (Raids only)
- Stealing spawn vehicles is very frowned upon
- We do not T-bag, Donkey punch, shoot corpses, or show any other sign of disrespect. (This also applies to all clan events)
- Do not trash talk
- Follow orders from all STAFF, whether they are in your division or not.
- Do not jeopardize your team
- All maps must be created on Forge World with no other edits on them (Battles only)
- In long, open hallways, there must be cover every 50 meters.
Clan Event: An event with more than three clan members, or when a CO or XO is present.
Section VI: Victories and Defeats
Fire of ONYX will consider the raid/battle a victory if:
- The hostile force surrenders/unconditional surrender
- Any Fire of ONYX Personnel are kicked with no legitimate reason
- All hostile personnel leave the game
- The top score/agreed score is matched by any or all Fire of ONYX Personnel (Battles only)
- Fire of ONYX Personnel hold an enemy base for 15 min or more
- Fire of ONYX Personnel hold a Fire of ONYX base for 45 min or more
- Hostile force violates any Raid/Battle rules
- All Fire of ONYX Personnel leave
- Fire of ONYX kick hostile personnel
- The top score/agreed score is matched by hostile forces (Battles only)
- Hostile force holds a Fire of ONYX base for 15 min or more
- Hostile force holds there base for 45 mn or more
- Fire of ONYX Personnel violate any raid rules
Section VII: Punishment

- 1-5 crouch laps on standard crouch lap course
- One rank demotion (i.e. E3 down to E2)
- 1-5 days of Officer Suspension (Officer Privileges taken away)
- 5-10 crouch laps on standard crouch lap course
- One rank demotion
- 3-7 days of Officer Suspension

- 10-15 crouch laps on standard crouch lap course
- Two rank demotion (i.e. E5 down to E3)
- Officer demotion (i.e. XO down to OpsOs)
- 1-7 day Clan Suspension (not allowed to participate in clan events)
- 15-30 crouch laps on standard crouch lap course
- Two rank demotion
- Withhold Officer rank (Officer rank and privileges taken away)
- 1-14 day Clan Suspension
- Fire of ONYX clan Discharge
Section VIII: Promotions
Subsection 1: Enlisted Promotion
Enlisted ranks will be promoted if:
Officers will get promoted to the rank of O1 when they complete Juliet Training overseen by an XO or CO.

- They participate in raids and clan battles (Only to E5)
- They get 3 or more recruits (E1-E4)
- They get 5 or more recruits (E5-E7)
- They Win raids or clan battles
- They participate and help in basic training (Only to E4)
Officers will get promoted to the rank of O1 when they complete Juliet Training overseen by an XO or CO.
Officers will get promoted when:
- They report violations to the CO of there branch
- They report plots to rebel
- They lead and win raids and clan battles (XOs only)
- They win a total of 5 or more raids while being an officer
- They get 7 or more recruits (OpsOs only)
- They get 10 or more recruits (XOs only)
- They conduct 5 or more training sessions as OpsOs (OpsOs only)
- They conduct 7 or more training sessions as XO (XOs only)
- They take part in any operations that are a success
Section IX: High Council of ONYX (HCO)
Subsection 1: HCO Membership
The HCO must come to a 4/6 (⅔) vote to do the following:
- The HCO will have a total of 6 officers at all times
- Each division will have two members representing them
- The two officers include the division CO and one more officer of the COs choosing
- If 4/6 members vote that a non CO member of the HCO is unfit, the CO of that division must choose another officer representative in place of them.
- The HCO chairman is voted in by the HCO starting on the 1st of every month, ending of the 7th of every month. (You cannot vote for yourself and they must be a CO)
- The chairman has no higher authority than other HCO members, but is the official leader of the Fire of ONYX
The HCO must come to a 4/6 (⅔) vote to do the following:
- Change the Rules of Engagement
- Create an alliance
- Change Fire of ONYX training maps and meeting maps
- Add new things to a specific division
- Add new things to the clan as a whole
- Declare war on another clan or council
- Conduct punishment to major cases
Section X: Allied Council of ONYX (ACO)
Subsection 1: ACO Members
The ACO must come to a vote greater than ⅔ (i.e. 12/15) to do the following:
- The Fire of ONYX will have two representatives in the ACO at all times (Division COs)
- Allied clans of the ACO must have two representatives in the ACO at all times
- The Chairman of the ACO is voted on by each clan on the 1st of each month to the 7th of each month (One vote per clan, you cannot vote for anyone inside your clan)
- The Chairman has no greater authority than other representatives, but is the official leader of the ACO
The ACO must come to a vote greater than ⅔ (i.e. 12/15) to do the following:
- Declare war on another clan/council
- Change anything relevant to the Fire of ONYX Rules of Engagement Section X
- Discharge another clan out of the ACO
- Discharge the ACO Chairman
- If a member of the ACO calls for backup in raids or clan battles, other clans are not forced to join.
- If a CO or XO of the Fire of ONYX commands Fire of ONYX Personnel to join, Fire of ONYX Personnel are forced to join and it is considered a clan event. If Fire of ONYX members go in voluntarily, it is not considered a clan event therefore you do not have to join. (This applies to the Fire of ONYX only)
